Barnfield Riding School is a friendly stables near Kingston, Surrey.
We teach riders of all ages and abilities to share our love of horses and learn from them. We offer lessons in our two flood-lit arenas, out on the road and on our horse simulator, and we offer hacking in beautiful Richmond Park.
Getting started is simple
First-time riders can choose:
a 30minute private lesson
or
a 1 hour ride and groom
You will be assessed and we will discuss your goals whether that is just to have fun, start your horse riding journey, focus on dressage, jumping or taking your BHS qualifications.
Our team will go through our terms and answer any questions to book you in.

At Barnfield, we’re committed to helping riders learn more about the horses and how to care for them. We offer a range of courses for adult riders – you can come just for fun or to prepare for British Horse Society exams.
For children, we run Pony Club and other activities – see our Kids page for details. To book any of our courses, please contact us by phone or email.
We teach riders of all abilities and experience levels in private, semi-private or group lessons.
Advanced riders can working towards their jumping goals to prepare for competitions, exams or just for fun!
