Lessons at Barnfield are all about having fun as well as taking your riding to the next level!
Whether you’re a total beginner, or a seasoned rider aiming to improve, we have experienced instructors who can help you meet your goals.
We offer
In order to offer our students a fully rounded riding experience, lessons are taught in the arena, out on the road and on the horse simulator.
Private lessons lasting ½ hour, 45 minutes or 1 hour
Group lessons lasting 1 hour – up to 4 riders so still lots of personal attention
Lead rein riding for young children aged 5 years +
Lunge lessons for beginners or experienced riders working on position.
Regular bookings
Many of our riders book in for a regular weekly or fortnightly slot. This offers the chance to get to know your instructor well and focus on your personal riding goals.
Regular group lessons mix work with pleasure – riders usually spend a month working hard in the school followed by enjoying local hacks for the next month.
Facilities
Barnfield has two all-weather schools on site. Both are floodlit so riding can continue on those long winter evenings! We have a range of show jumps to practice on for the more experienced rider too.
We also have a horse simulator for all our riders, from beginners to get the basics of horse riding to experienced riders looking to improve their technique.
